BLOCK PROBLEM 1

Charles M. Eastman, Spatial Synthesis in Computer-Aided Building Design, John Wiley and Sons, 1975.

The block problem set consisted of four separate problems, each of which required placing the same six blocks in an 8 x 5 box. The difference between the problems involved the directions the blocks were allowed to face and whether the REEXAMINE function of DPS was allowed to change the order that objects were entered into the design.
